LANGUAGE

We currently offer Portuguese language classes to help our team prepare for field work in Angola. Due to the colourful mix of countries our team members hail from, our company language is English. So, for anyone struggling with English we are happy to support with a course. We plan to offer additional language courses as we expand our projects to new countries.

FIELD TRIPS

While some roles require frequent visits to the field, KAYA provides all team members with the opportunity to visit our project sites in Angola. These visits offer firsthand insights into our work, allowing employees to engage directly with local landscapes, communities, and project activities.

In this stage, you’ll meet the hiring manager and potentially another team member. Together, we’ll discuss technical questions to assess your expertise and alignment with the role.

Before this session, we will provide you with a list of questions to prepare in advance. The meeting is an opportunity to delve into your approach to problem-solving, planning, and communication. You are welcome to present your answers in whatever format feels comfortable for you, whether through a thoughtful discussion or a visual presentation. We’ll ask you to kindly provide two professional contacts for reference calls. You may ask their permission to share their details and inform them about the reason for our call. These insights help us complete the picture of your professional journey.

At this stage, we will make a decision based on the gathered information and inform you within a few days.
