REDD+ Mechanisms – TEST
What is REDD+ ?
REDD+ (Reduction of Emissions from Deforestation and forest Degradation) is a framework created in order to prevent deforestation and support natural prosperity. It is targeted toward areas where residents or businesses knowingly or unknowingly contribute negative climate action and ecological destruction.
The REDD+ Framework has two main sectors-
The environmental sector – reducing deforestation and forest degradation as well as preserving and supporting healthy plantations.
The educational sector – guiding the inhabitants and businesses in an area so that they understand how to go about business and life without harming the ecosystem, while providing them with efficient, simple solutions.
By protecting the earth’s forests from further degradation and improving upon plant health, we ensure ourselves and our planet a much, much better future.
- Reduce carbon emission.
- Absorption of toxic substances
- Increased oxygen for the entire globe
- Improved communal life and conditions
“Climate change is a terrible problem, and it absolutely needs to be solved. It deserves to be a huge priority.”Bill Gates
We plan to implement REDD+ Mechanisms in a wide variety of areas, attempting to ensure a better future while working hand-in-hand with communities to improve their lives as well.
Each project that KAYA develops brings powerful benefits to local communities. In supporting KAYA, you are simultaneously helping them with necessities like clean water, education and healthcare.

What Is Reforestation?
Reforestation is the human effort of restoring and rehabilitating a once-forested area to its original state.
Many factors can result in a region becoming deforested, both in the form of natural and unnatural disturbances. Logging, city development, wild fires, and livestock presence are prominent damaging factors.
By supporting natural tree growth and by planting forests ourselves, we are making a great investment to quality of life upon earth now and into the future.
Reforestation Strategies for Sub-Saharan Africa
We plan reforestation in a wide variety of areas, attempting to ensure a better future while working hand-in-hand with communities to improve their lives as well.
In a few years time, our trees and forests will become a substantial factor in the reduction of the world’s carbon emission, which means cleaner air, repressed global warming, less famine, and much more.
Empowering Local Communities: A Vital Partnership
Engaging local communities is paramount to fire prevention.
Community-based fire prevention strategies include education and awareness campaigns to equip residents with the knowledge and tools to significantly improve response times and minimize fire damage.
